Allen David Marquart passed away peacefully in his sleep with his loving wife by his side on August 19th, 2024.

He will always be remembered for his positive attitude, ability to cultivate longstanding relationships and his tremendous love for family and friends.

Allen was born on July 20th, 1951 to Herbert and Margaret Marquart of Washington, MO. He attended Southwest Missouri State University. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army from 1970-1975. After serving his country, Allen started in sales for the Reynolds & Reynolds Company where he devoted 49+ years of his employment to solidifying relationships with customers and colleagues with his depth of expertise in his field and his contagious charisma. By the end of his career he became a mentor to many and friend to all.

Allen found great joy in his faith in God, traveling with Kathleen, riding endless miles on his bike, golfing with his buddies, BBQing, volunteering in his community and spending quality time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen, former wife, Bobbi Marquart and their three children, Christopher (Elizabeth) Marquart, Christina (Zane) Kraetsch, and Robert (Katie) Marquart.

When Allen married the love of his life Kathleen in 2003, he also gained two stepsons, David (Linda) MacCulloch and Derek (Samantha) MacCulloch.

Between their five children, Allen was blessed with 10 grandchildren (Brendan, Aubrey, Carson, Taylor, Brayden, Caden, Brinley, Jackson, Mabel and Cooper).

Donations can be made in Allen’s name to a charity of your own choice.

Allen’s family has chosen to have a celebration of life in a private gathering for immediate family.

“When tomorrow starts without me,

Don’t think we’re far apart,

For every time you think of me,

I’m right here, in your heart.”
