Elizabeth Leidy

Elizabeth Ann Leidy left us to walk with Jesus on August 5, 2022, at 10:44 pm, in her home with her husband, Kent, and daughter, Trinette, by her side. She was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico, on March 18, 1958, to Bradford Weldon and Barbara Jean Willis (Bowman). She grew up with her older brothers, Joe, Al, and Oval, and her older sister Pat while attending Farmington Schools. After high school graduation, she attended San Juan College and Northern Arizona University to study drafting and engineering. After completing college, she worked for Daggett Enterprises in Farmington. She continued to work after retirement at the D&SNG Railroad as the reservations supervisor until 2019.
In 1978, Kent appeared in Beth's life in a restaurant in Farmington, and they married on July l4, 1979. Beth adored being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and great grandmother!
Beth was always vibrant and emanated the light of God in everything she did every day. She was fervent with her service to our Lord and to the community. She sang on the Praise Team Choir and taught Children's Church for many years for the First Baptist Church of Farmington. As an avid and talented quilter she was always there to help with other members of the La Plata Quilt Guild in their mission of charity and was currently serving as the 2022 President for the guild. Her patriotism for the country was revealed in her quilts she had made for the Gold Star Families and Blue Star Mothers.
She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, her brother Joe Willis, her son-in-law John Michael Bridges, and Kevon Gregory Boling, her grandson, and Chantel Steele, great niece. She is survived by her husband Kent, her daughter Trinette, her son Jonathon, four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren and her brothers Al and Oval, and sister Pat. A funeral service will be held 10:00am August 17, 2022 at First Baptist Church 511 W. Arrington ST. Farmington NM. 87401
