Jerry Joseph Moskios passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at home. He was 72 years old. Services will be announced for a later date.
Jerry was born May 16, 1947, to George and Phyllis Moskios in Baltimore, Maryland. He grew up in Southern California and graduated from high school there.
He met Kate in 1997 and they were married in 1999 in Las Vegas, NV. He and Kate retired to Durango about 2-3 years ago.
Jerry was a self made man, a risk taker and his confidence was an asset that made him excel in sales and life. He was a people person and very gregarious - he could make friends with anyone. Jerry loved sports, and valued activity to maintain his health; he was generous to fault, had a heart of gold, and sang and danced through life. He showed his love through preparing and enjoying meals with others. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind a wife, Kate Moskios; Siblings: George Moskios, Phillip Moskios and Donna Moskios;
children from first wife Pamela Owens: Holly Moskios, Rachel Patten, Christopher Moskios; In addition to his 3 children he had 9 biological grandchildren 5 through marriage and one great grandchild on the way. Jerry also has 3 children through marriage he loved dearly, Dillon, Adam and Steven and their families.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
