Bonnie Jo Lazelle Redd passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. She was 82 years old.
Bonnie was born September 15, 1936, to Theodore Lazelle and Josephine Cecilia Gilpin in Decatur, Nebraska. She was a member of the Omaha Tribe of Macy, Nebraska. She lived in Nebraska and Minnesota through her teenage years and later moved to Towaoc, Colorado. There, she met and married Albert Gunn Redd. She had three children and lived the rest of her life in New Mexico with her family. Bonnie was an amazing chef and mother. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren immensely. She also played a helping role in raising many children that were not her own. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her two daughters Elise Redd, Cecilia (Ervin) Redd, son, Albert (Aggie) Gunn Redd Jr., sisters, Bernice Hanley, Pri Morris, Wynema Morris, and brother, Norman Harlan Jr..

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gunn Redd, mother, Josephine Harlan, father, Theodore Lazelle, brother, Theodore Lazelle Jr., sister, Patricia Whyte, aunt, Elsie Morris, and grandson, Christian Smith.

A Rosary will be held August 20, 2019 Tuesday at 6:00 pm at St. Ignatius Catholic Church and Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at 10:00 am. Burial will occur at Ignacio East Cemetery.
