Manda Burger passed away on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017. She was 38 years old.
Manda was born October 9, 1979, to Teddie and Sue Ullom. Manda grew up in Hesperus, Colorado and attended Durango High school. She received her bachelor’s degree in visual communications at Westwood College. Manda was a dedicated worker at Vantiv Integrated Payments as a workforce manager.
Manda was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. She was a talented artist in painting, drawing, and crafting. She had a gift at design, styling hair, and finding the beauty in others. She loved gardening, landscaping, hiking, camping, and roller derby. There was never a shortage of people in her home that she loved to entertain. Manda’s life was marked by helping so many people. She lived “love your neighbor as yourself”.
She is survived by her mother, Sue Ullom, husband, Chad Burger, and two children, Rowan and Tavin. Her sister, Randa, and niece and nephew, Katie and Henry. Her brothers, Terry Ullom, W.D. Rush, and Christopher Butler. Chad’s parents, Steve and Debbie Burger. Survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
She is preceded in death by father, Teddie Ullom, uncle, Marty Fisher, aunt, Leanne Rush, grandparents, Melvin and Eula Butler, great grandparents, Melvin and Allyne Fisher, great aunt and uncle, Vera and Glen Ullom.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Durango Arts Center in Manda’s name.
