Henry Dittmar Sr

Henry M. "Bo" Dittmar, Sr. died peacefully in his home Sunday, October 29, 2017 with his loving wife Georgie and his son by his side. Henry had been battling lymphoma cancer.
Henry was born June 6, 1929 in Pueblo, CO and then moved to a farm east of Ignacio at the age of 12 in 1941. In 1959 Henry married Georgia Rea. Henry was a meticulous stone and brick mason in addition to his farming life. Henry loved the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter and spent most of his weekends fishing for that BIG fish.
Henry is survived by his wife Georgia (Rea) Dittmar, sons William B. Dittmar (Cindy) of-Canby, Oregon and Henry M. "Hank" Dittmar Jr. (Jeanne) of Durango, CO and sister Dorothy Sutherlin of Denver, CO. Also grandchildren Christina Dittmar and Michael Dittmar of California, Stefani Dunn (Brad) of Temple, TX, Ryan Dittmar and Randi Dittmar of Durango, CO.
He was preceded in death by two sons: Steve Dittmar and Paul M. "Mike" Dittmar.
Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Hospice of Mercy in Henry’s remembrance.
