Obituary for Hannah Plimack (Scher)
Hannah Plimack passed away July 13, 2017, in Durango, surrounded by her family. She was born in Waycross, Georgia on January 16, 1927. Hannah loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family during traditional Jewish holidays. Hannah was a lover of art and gardening. She played bridge and Mahjong with wonderful, caring friends.
Hannah is survived by her daughters, Diane (husband Kevin) McCarthy and Arlene (husband Tom) Prince; her sister, Sarah Albert; numerous grand children and great-grand children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Plimack and her brother Dr. Ernest Scher.
There will be a celebration of Hannah's life in Baltimore, MD, on July 30, 2017, from 1pm - 4pm, at the Prince home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hannah's memory to Fort Lewis College Foundation, TRIO Talent Search Fund, 1000 Rim Drive, Durango, CO 81301.
