Delbert Babbitt

Delbert Babbitt, 74 years, of Farmington, New Mexico, died November 10, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, Colorado. Delbert was born July 9, 1942 to Opal & Jack Babbitt, and he grew up in Greeley, Colorado. Delbert enjoyed his many years working as a foreman on a variety of gas and oil pipelines throughout the U.S. He was an avid fisherman, who will be missed by his family and friends.
Delbert is survived by his wife of 31 years Delma Babbitt; three sons Steve of North Dakota, Jack of Greeley, and Shawn of Texas; step-son Gary Smouse of Dolores; step-daughter Shanda King of Cortez; sister Betty Dinkel of Westminster;12 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; son Jeff; and sister Verla.

To honor Delbert's wishes, no service will be held.
