Jose "Joe" Valdez, 59 years,of Durango, Colorado,died 6/26/2016peacefully at Mercy Regional Medical Center. Born 12/13/1956. Joe was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching all sports and he loved to make people laugh.
He is preceded in death by parents Delphin Valdez & Leonarde Pacheco. He is survived by brothers Larry & Ernie Valdez; sisters Mabel Wallace, Lilia Nix, Bernice Avellino, & Susan Diaz.
A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 1st, 2016 at Hood Mortuary Chapel 1261 East 3rd Avenue, Durango, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe's honor to Manna Soup Kitchen.
