Glenda Vigil passed away Friday, Feb 26, 2016 in Durango, surrounded by family. She was 57. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 7 p.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. The Mass Of Christian Burial will be held Wed, March 2, 2016, at 10 AM, at St. Ignatius and burial will follow at Ouray Cemetery.
Glenda worked for the Jicarilla Apache Police as a patrol woman for 10 years, she was a Veteran of the US Army, Operation Desert Storm and served for 10 years, and drove truck for Werner for 10 years. She was an avid bowler, Broncos fan, and loved to travel.
She is survived by brothers: Elroy, Rueben, Albie, Wesley and Levi; grandchildren: Sean, Kierstin, and Hunter Vicenti; and numerous relatives and friends in Ignacio, Dulce, NM, and Fort Duchesne, UT.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter: Patricia Vicenti, and her brother, Eldred, Jr.
