On January 15, 2016, Jeannette "Jen" Rae Frost passed into the Spirit World to meet her Creator after battling a short illness.
Jen was born June 22, 1979 in Durango, CO to Raymond Frost, Sr. and Edna Barry Frost.
Jen was a member of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and the St. Ignatius Catholic Church and was a strong believer in the Catholic faith as well as her Ute culture and traditions.
Jen graduated from Ignacio High School and attended a nursing program at Pueblo Community College. She planned to finish her nursing degree to take care of others. Jen worked as an Administrative Assistant with various departments within the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and Southern Ute Growth Fund.
Jen was loved by all who knew her. She could put a smile on anyone’s face and make anyone and everyone feel special. She loved her friends and family, especially her nieces, nephews, and cousins, all who called her "Auntie." She was known for her humor, smile, love of life, and contagious laughter.
Jen loved animals, especially her horses and dogs. She had excellent horsemanship skills and participated in parades as well as Grand Entries for Rodeos. Jen was an avid Denver Broncos fan! She also enjoyed various types of music, camping, fishing, family gatherings, and traveling.
